3d model made with Bristol Board

Pawley's Island

Program:
To design a building, on Pawley's Island that acts as a community building for the neighbourhood. This building should have two spaces, one for activity and the second for relaxation. The building should be built to provide adequate lighting. However, the horizontal glazing should not exceed 25 sq. ft.

Design Methodology:

- Designed in a way that both spaces have adequate natural light, not only through horizontal windows, but also vertical window openings and skylights.
- Small scale model constructed with bristol board
- Light analysis in Autocad and Viz
