For that touch of Class: Fabrics in home furnishings can completely revitalize the look of a home. Silks add class and give an elegant touch. A muted tone of beige worked well for the chairs, and corresponded well with the existing brown sofa and loveseat. These tones gave scope of playing with a little splash of colors. Pillows added an easy and quick solution to add flavor to the living room. Colorful and bold patterned pillows can added a touch of drama. Embroidered fabrics were a wonderful accent to the room. This look was further accentuated with a bold mirror over a dual finish console table, a bronze metal lamp and some color accessories.

Spruced Up a dull and boring Space by:

1. - Freshening up the fireplace by painting it white.

2. - Going for larger furniture. Stick to one couch, two side chairs, one coffee table, a chest and side tables.

3. -Bringing in a large 8 x 10 area rug to define the space.

4. - Red shelving on either side of the fireplace gives the room a pop of colour.

5. -Having fun with it! Colourful pillows tie it all together.

6. - Replaced pictures above the fireplace with a statement mirror, and remove items from the mantelpiece – less is more!

- - Drape panels are hung both sides of the large window.

8. - Added a pouf for character and additional seating.

9. -Added floor lamp will be functional for reading, as well as create a new mood.

10-Chose a fun red end tables to tie in red shelving.

Extreme Fitness Condo:

Extreme Fitness launched a fitness challenge called ExtreMe: The Ultimate 60 Day Body and Lifestyle Makeover Challenge. It was a 60-day challenge to push you to achieve your fitness goals. ExtreMe was the biggest and most unique health and lifestyle challenge Toronto had ever seen, and offered prizes that changed the winners life including a new car, a new job, and a new condo. The New Condo was designed by us.

Designing a Great Room:

Our Client just moved into a brand new house, and needed to spruce up her large Great Room. This Mood board is divided into three: from right to left: Dining Area, Fireplace Area and Living Area.

Design Time: Muskoka

Muskoka, just two hours north of Toronto, Canada, is a region of lakes and jutting granite cliffs that recalls the breathtaking vistas of the Adirondacks. Remote Stylist.com engaged the high-profile audience of Muskoka in a creative, entertaining and inspiring way. We transformed a Muskoka cottage into a show home, pop up store and event venue. Floor to ceiling and deck to dock, guests will be inspired by global trends in furniture, design, color and lifestyle.

This Cottage was on Lake Rosseau in Muskoka. It had 8 bedrooms/ 4 bathrooms in the main cottage and 3 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms in the boat House. The plan was to revamped the entire cottage including breaking some walls, changing flooring throughout the space, installing new vanities in all bathrooms, changing kitchen flooring, cabinets and counter tops and adding new furniture, fixtures and finishes.
